Introduction
Masters in Business Administration in Global Leadership and Management program seeks to develop professional skills in students needed to successfully lead an organization in a global environment. This program preliminary focuses in developing social entrepreneurs in Nepal. Social entrepreneurship is a middle spot of business (profit) and social cause (impact). This program strives both to deepen knowledge in applied business administration and develop management and leadership skills relevant for international business careers and social entrepreneurship.
The graduates will be prepared for leadership positions in international businesses, multilateral agencies, and international nonprofit organizations. They obtain the competencies required for success in multicultural organizations at home and abroad. Students will undertake a Leadership development program alongside the core academic curriculum. The program is designed to equip students with the insights, analytical capabilities and skills to meet the challenges facing leaders who seek to shape organizations in today's world, focusing on managing oneself and others, and increasing employee well-being and performance while working in dynamic and complex environments.
About the program
This is a degree program of the School of Management (SOM), Tribhuvan University (TU) in association with the School of Management & Economics, Graduate School of Global Management and Leadership, Handong Global University (HGU), Republic of Korea. The Program will be based on the MOU signed between TU and HGU. It is a two years full time course run in semester system. The course is of 60 credit hours.
Students are required to undertake an international study tour in a South-Asian or South-East Asian country to gain an international exposure. In this study tour, students visit a number of global businesses and observe and study the global business operations. They will also have intensive project camps every semester to work and refine their business plan for social enterprise with mentorship from Nepalese and Korean professors.

Intake

Eligibility

A minimum of 15 years’ formal education (12 years of schooling plus three years of graduation)

Must have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or 45 percent in Bachelor’s level
Application Process

Submit the application form with all details of personal information and past academic records within the notified time (The application blank and this brochure will be available form the SOMTU reception during the office hours.)

At the time of submission students pay Rs. 1500 for admission tests. This fee must be deposited in the school’s account no. 0501010000163 at the Global Bank and the deposit voucher submitted along with the application.

Admission Test

Candidates must appear in the SOMAT test conducted by the college on a pre-informed date
-
Selected candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Individual Presentation (IP)
-
Selected candidates from GD and IP will be called for Personal Interview
The final decision on admission is taken on the basis of performance scores of an applicant in the admission tests.
